About WHITEWATER LIVESTOCK
Kurtis and Chelsea Black purchased their own farm in 2012 but have been operating, showing and promoting cattle since 2001.
Kurtis Black grew up in Renfrew County farming and raising Charolais with his Uncle Keith. He graduated with a diploma in agriculture from Kempville College and now works in the agriculture field in addition to farming. Kurtis also has a number of judging gigs on his resume.
Chelsea Black (nee O’Connor) grew up in Carleton County on a small Simmental Farm. She graduated from University of Guelph with a degree in applied science before settling into her career in the health care field.
From 4-H, Canadian Charolais Youth Association, the Young Canadian Simmental Association, open shows and local fairs, these two have a large number of shows across Canada to add to their resume. You don’t get this kind of experience without learning a great deal about the cattle industry and what will work in your herd because it is what works in theirs!
Although we bought our own farm we still operate closely with our familes, if we do not have anything presently that you are looking for we are sure these farms will.
